LEXUS NX SPECIFICATIONS
For a vehicle that blends athleticism with comfort, there’s the Lexus NX. It’s nimble and sure-footed and offers a very smooth ride.
It also has the kind of power you need for any driving situation, with a 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder engine that delivers 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
You can tailor your driving experience the way you want through the standard Drive Mode Select that comes with the following modes…
• Sport mode: Alters the powertrain for faster gear changes.
• ECO mode: Engine power output is moderated for increased fuel efficiency.
• Normal mode: Gives you that optimum balance of performance and efficiency.
Furthermore, the NX can take on any road thanks to its available all-wheel drive (AWD) system. It’ll deliver up to 50% of available torque to the rear wheels if wheelspin is detected, helping you stay in control on even the slickest surfaces.
LEXUS NX HYBRID
Furthermore, the Lexus NX offers a hybrid model: the NX 300h. This vehicle gives you smooth and instantaneous acceleration along with class-leading fuel economy ratings—all without requiring a charge.
In this hybrid, an additional setting is added to the Drive Mode Select: EV mode. This mode will allow you to drive short distances at low speeds on battery power alone. Since the engine isn’t engaged, no fuel is consumed and emissions are eliminated.
The 300h also offers an AWD system. In this case, it’ll have an additional electric motor. This motor will deliver instantaneous torque to the rear wheels when needed without losing friction nor adding fuel consumption.
LEXUS NX F SPORT
If you’re looking for a more dynamic performance, then you may be interested in the NX 300 F SPORT. It’s engineered with high-rigidity components, such as MacPherson struts in the front and a double-wishbone type suspension in the rear. Due to its design, the vehicle offers the feel of a performance sedan with the capability of a utility vehicle.
The F SPORT handles very well on the road, but its available Adaptive Variable Suspension gives you even more dynamic handling. After all, it features 650 levels of damping that can automatically adapt to changing conditions for an enhanced response.
LEXUS NX MPG
Not only does the NX handle well, but it’s also quite fuel-efficient. In fact, the 300 achieves an EPA-estimated 22 city/28 highway MPG.*
The 300 F SPORT AWD model, meanwhile, drops down only slightly in the fuel economy rating, achieving an EPA-estimated 22 city/27 highway MPG.*
However, if you’re looking for maximum efficiency, then you may want to opt for the NX 300 Hybrid. This model achieves an EPA-estimated 33 city/30 highway MPG.* That way, you can spend a much longer time on the road before needing to refuel.
LEXUS NX DIMENSIONS & CARGO SPACE
There’s more than enough space for five people in the LEXUS NX. In the front, you’ll get 38.2 inches of headroom and 42.8 inches of legroom. In the back, there are 38.1 inches of headroom and 36.1 inches of legroom.
There’s also lots of room to fit shopping bags, luggage, and more inside the SUV. There’s 17.7 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Fold those down and the space expands to 54.6 cubic feet. Plus, with the 60/40 split rear seats, you can fit lots of items while still leaving room for a backseat passenger.
For cargo loading convenience, there’s the available Power Rear Door with Kick Sensor. Simply wave your foot under the rear bumper and the liftgate will automatically open.
NX INTERIOR DESIGN & AMENITIES
The NX crossover is cozy and posh with lots of comfort amenities. It comes standard with a NuLuxe interior trim along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
This vehicle makes it easy to get comfortable behind the wheel with its standard 10-way power-adjustable seat. However, your co-pilot won’t get left out since there’s an 8-way front passenger seat.
Heated and ventilated front seats are available to warm up or cool down, depending on the time of year. A heated steering wheel is available, as well, to soothe your hands after a long day. Plus, standard dual-zone automatic climate control makes it easy to get your ideal cabin temperature without having your passenger feel too hot or too cold.
LEXUS NX TECHNOLOGIES
For entertainment, the vehicle comes standard with Lexus Enform App Suite 2.0. With this feature, you can download various apps to stream music, listen to live radio, check fuel prices, and more.
Furthermore, there’s an available navigation system, which utilizes Lexus Enform Dynamic Navigation. Through cloud-based updates, you’ll always have the most up-to-date maps for getting to your destination.
Apple CarPlay™ comes standard, which lets you connect your smartphone to the vehicle. Simply plug it into the SUV’s USB port, and you can send text messages, access podcasts, and more, without messing with your phone while driving.
Plus, everyone will surely be happy with the standard Lexus Enform Wi-Fi hotspot. With this feature, up to five devices can be connected to the internet, no matter where you travel.
